Following in the footsteps of his father, HQ Construction founder Huntley Quinn started building back in 1991. Since forming his own business in 2003, Huntley and the team at HQ have been meeting Canterbury’s construction needs with high-quality building solutions.
Huntley oversees all operations and maintains a close working relationship with his clients, architects, contractors and team. We choose to work with contractors and tradespeople whose values match ours: hard-working problem solvers who reliably deliver outstanding results.

Community Support
Like most tradespeople, we enjoy using our skills to help out our neighbours. We’ve previously helped West Spreydon School to build a new playground and swimming pool, and Huntley has been involved with the Sumner Surf Life Saving Club for over 10 years.
We’re proud to be an active part of the community and look forward to supporting local organisations for many years to come.
